Best-selling author and men’s rights activist, Warren Farrell, gives an interview about his book, The Myth of Male Power. A former director of the National Organisation for Women, Warren argues that society has been mislead by the feminist movement into perceiving women as victims of male oppression. He believes that the reverse is true; women have most of the rights and privileges whilst men are treated like 2nd-class citizens. This interview is 3 hours and 17 minutes in length. www.warrenfarrell.com

To win, an alienation of affection lawsuit needs to prove that: 1) Love between the married spouses must have existed. 2) The marital love must have been alienated and destroyed. Criminal Conversation ( Defined by… legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Criminal+conversation) This phrase is usually employed to denote the crime of adultery. The remedy for criminal conversation is, by an action on the case for damages. That the plaintiff connived, or assented to, his wife’s infidelity, or that he prostituted her for gain, is a complete answer to the action. See Connivance. But the facts that the wife’s character for chastity was bad before the plaintiff married her; that he lived with her after he knew of the criminal intimacy with the defendant; that he had connived at her intimacy with other men; or that the plaintiff had been false to his wife, only go in mitigation of damages. One of the most beautifully understated movies ever to come out of the UK, Fred Zinnemann’s monumental direction of Robert Bolt’s original screenplay boasted a cast of real breadth and depth, with the truly outstanding Paul Scofield at its head giving a beautifully understated performance as Thomas More, who stood up to King Henry VIII when the King rejected the Roman Catholic Church to obtain a divorce and remarriage. The film won 6 Oscars, with Best actor for Scofield – surely the most deserved of any – among them. It’s a quietly powerful morality story of principal over political expedience that the modern generations of political animal would do well to take notice of. If you haven’t seen this film yet, you really have missed a treat. Watch it. Now.
